Tour Plan
Day 01
Arrival in Panama City & Transfer to Boquete
Arrive in Panama City and transfer to the highland town of Boquete in Chiriqui province, gateway to Volcan Baru National Park. Evening at leisure to settle in and acclimate to the cooler mountain climate.
Day 02
Cloud Forest Zip-lining & Quetzal Trail Hike
Morning zip-lining through Boquete’s misty cloud forest canopy, followed by an afternoon guided hike along the Quetzal Trail at the base of Volcan Baru, keeping an eye out for the resplendent quetzal and other highland birdlife.
Day 03
Chiriqui Viejo Whitewater Rafting
Full day whitewater rafting the Chiriqui Viejo River, Panama’s premier rafting run, tackling Class III-IV rapids through jungle-lined canyons. Return to Boquete for a well-earned dinner.
Day 04
Transfer to Bocas del Toro & Island Hopping
Morning transfer to the Caribbean coast and boat crossing to the Bocas del Toro archipelago. Afternoon island-hopping by boat between Isla Colon, Isla Bastimentos and the Zapatilla Cays, with stops for snorkeling over coral reefs.
Day 05
Surfing, Sloth Sanctuary & Departure
Final morning free to try surfing at one of Bocas’ beginner-friendly breaks or visit a local sloth sanctuary, before your departure transfer.
